Today I marked more things off of my never ending To-Do List. You would think that after all of the waiting I would have everything ready, but it is not so. Today we received yet another itinerary with more details and more things to do before we leave. I know it will all be done, but I am so anxious to just sit down on that plane and know that everything is ready for our Cherry Blossom to come home.
As I face my fears of getting everything done I'm reminded by one of my favorite authors:
“Feed your fears and your faith will starve. Feed your faith, and your fears will.”
― Max Lucado, Fearless: Imagine Your Life Without Fear
These next 8 days I want to feed my faith instead of my fears. I know that God has been with me this entire journey and he is not going to leave me in my time of need. Everything will get done!
Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. James 1:27
Hold on, to me as we go. As we roll down this unfamiliar road. And although this wave is stringing us along. Just know you’re not alone, cause I’m going to make this place your home. Settle down, it'll all be clear. Don't pay no mind to the demons, they fill you with fear. The trouble it might drag you down. If you get lost, you can always be found. Just know you’re not alone, cause I’m going to make this place your home.
